Skye Canyon is a master-planned communitie in the Las Vegas area. Located about 30 minutes northwest of the Las Vegas strip, this 1,000-acre community offers entry-level and higher-end neighborhoods for individuals, couples, families, and active adults. The Skye Canyon community also features two additional parks – Eagle Canyon and Skye View – as well as two more planned parks that will be coming soon as future phase neighborhoods are completed. In addition to the fitness center and parks, Skye Canyon features extensive hiking & biking trails, a community garden, and a local farmers market. Skye Canyon Marketplace also offers a variety of stores, dining options, and professional services, with more to come. The shopping center is anchored by Smith’s Marketplace – the valley’s only Smith’s featuring a full-sized grocery store with household and décor items, family apparel, dine-in or take-out meals, a drive-through pharmacy, and other essentials. Future community development also includes a new K-5 elementary, middle school and high school.
Skye Canyon is a great community for residents interested in a modern, family-friendly community with extensive indoor and outdoor recreation and social activities. The community is scenic and peaceful with a close, neighborhood feel and a backyard of expansive wilderness. The insular nature and location of this community is great for some families and individuals, but it isn’t the best neighborhood for those interested in being close to the excitement of city life with convenient and numerous shopping, entertainment, and dining options.
Homes in Skye Canyon range from the mid $400,000s to the low $800,000s with a median sales price of about $507,764. HOA fees range from about $55 to $250 per quarter.
