People in Las Vegas LOVE their dogs. But many dog owners either live in apartments or have small backyards without grass. Luckily for people living in Henderson…there are LOADS of dog parks in Henderson, NV!
These well-kept dog parks have lots of grass, different areas for small and large dogs, sitting areas, and water fountains. Most of these dog parks in Henderson, NV are also near playgrounds, which is good for people who need to exercise their kids and dogs at the same time 😉
Amador Vista dog park is small, but it ticks all the boxes. This is actually the dog park we frequent the most often (#1 and #2 are special occasions). There are areas for small and large dogs, but generally, the “large dog” area tends to become “all dogs.” While smaller than our other top 5, the large dog area has just enough room for a game of fetch.
Amador Vista Dog Park tends to be quiet, which means the grass is usually in great shape. Owners and other dogs are friendly, but you might find yourself alone. There are two benches in each area with some shaded.
The park also features a playground and a large grassy field with a walking path around it. Many dog owners choose to exercise their dogs on this walking path.

Dos Escuelas only has one dog run, but it’s loved for its friendly people and dogs. There are a few larger trees for shade, benches, a large grassy area, and a watering station. We love this park for its cleanliness and friendly people. This is definitely a Green Valley Ranch locals favorite of all the dog parks in Henderson, NV
The park also has lighted ball fields, basketball courts and tennis courts, a playground, an open field, and barbecues.

Dog lovers living in Inspirada have a great local dog park at their neighborhood park, Aventura. This dog park has an area for both large and small dogs. Each has a few shaded benches and the grass is well kept.
Inspirada is its own community within Henderson, and this is a great place to connect with your friendly neighbors. The dog park is well lit at night, which is helpful as it can get dark early here. The park itself has volleyball courts, tennis courts, an outdoor basketball court, a playground, splash pad and bathrooms.

The Bark Park is truly one of the best dog parks in Henderson, NV. It only gets pushed into spot #2 because it tends to be quieter.
When building the Bark Park, the city of Henderson took into account feedback from pet owners and dog park users. The 5-acre Bark Park was born.
This dog park features separate dog areas, an agility course, walking trail, dog bone-themed benches with shaded canopies, and drinking fountains for humans and dogs.
Bark Park has huge grassy runs. There is a small dog area, large dog area, and “all dogs” which also has an agility course. The grass in these runs is extremely well taken care of. There are usually quite a few dogs here in the mornings, but you may just have the whole place to yourself.
There is even a splash pad just for dogs! The splash pad is open daily from 7am to 6pm, May 1 through Sept. 30.

This one is cheating slightly as it’s JUST north of Henderson. However, if your dog loves playing with others, this is the place for you. Sunset Dog Park is usually pretty busy, and gets downright crazy after work and on the weekends which makes it a great fit for social dogs.
This dog park is huge! There 3 dog areas and 2 are open at a time, one for small and one for large dogs. The park service rotates the use of the three areas so one area is always “closed” while the grass rejuvenates. This means lots of grass for your pups to enjoy!
In addition, the dog park has covered picnic tables and some trees to provide shade for us humans. Water fountains for humans and dogs are located inside of each area, and often friendly owners will leave extra buckets of water around the park for all dogs to enjoy.
It gets dark early in Las Vegas compared to other parts of the nation. Luckily, Sunset Dog Park has lots of lights so you can enjoy it after dark.
Sunset Dog Park isn’t just a social spot for dogs, you’re bound to meet a variety of people here. There are definitely some characters!
